Introduction

Our compression testing machine is used to determine the characteristic compressive strength and assignment of the compressive strength classes of concrete. 

Compression tests are carried out on test specimens. Specimens in cube form with an edge length of max. 200mm, or as cylinders with a height of max. 320mm and a diameter of max. 150mm can be inserted into our machines.

In this test the concrete sample is placed on a hardened pressure plate and loaded manually or automatically until it breaks.
